Privacy

Short version: I collect what you send me so I can reply to you, and nothing else. I don't sell it, I don't share it, and I don't send marketing to people who didn't ask for it.

What I collect

If you fill in the contact form, I receive your name, email address, company name if you give one, and your message. I also record which page you submitted from, the first page you landed on, the name of the website that sent you there if there was one (for example www.google.com, never the full address), and any campaign tracking parameters in the link you followed. That tells me which page or piece of outreach a conversation came from.

Why

To reply to you and to run the project if we work together. I use the landing page, referring site and campaign parameters to see which pages and outreach are worth continuing. I don't use them to build a profile of you.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within twelve months. Project correspondence is kept for as long as I'm required to keep business records, then deleted.

Your rights

Under POPIA in South Africa and the GDPR in the EU and UK, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email support@yourdesign.co.za and I'll action it, same response time as everything else.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps the landing page, referring site and campaign parameters in session storage while you visit. They only reach me if you send the contact form, and your browser discards them when you close the tab.
